Discover what Stratton Exteriors is all about.
Step 1: Consultation and Project Scope
After our initial contact, we’ll set-up an appointment. This appointment is designed to generate more information about the project. We’ll go over things like projects details and discuss what is in and out of scope. These details will help us calculate the estimate for the project. So, make sure you have all of your information, design ideas, and questions to discuss.
Once we’ve exhausted the project possibilities and decided on a preliminary path, Stratton Exteriors will provide you with an estimate. Consultations are available if you are supplying all the information and spec details. If you would like to utilize our creative resources to help you build out your project, the estimate will be an additional fee.
Step 2: Pricing and Strategy Approval
The first estimate you receive after our meeting is just an estimate. As experts in home renovation, we take this time to research and price the entire project from start to finish. This step is beneficial for both parties, and we ensure our pricing is all-inclusive, so there are no surprises. It will cover labor, parts, and services to get the job completed.
We’ll present you with the final cost and have you sign an agreement confirming the construction process.
Step 3: Confirming Project Timeline
This is where some of the excitement begins. Our team of Project Managers is here to help guide your new build or renovation from start to finish. We do that through effective time management and attention to detail. After the pricing and project have been approved, your project manager will meet with you to discuss the timeline and what to expect. Together you will review the steps. This portion of the project is helpful. You, the property owner will be aware of when to expect workers at your house, for how long, and the results you’ll see and when.
Step 4: Obtain Permits and Complete Inspections
One of the hardest things about trying to do construction and renovation on your own is knowing what permits you’ll need and what inspections are necessary. At Stratton Exteriors, we’ve been helping property owners complete projects in the greater Nashville area for over a decade. We know the in’s and out’s of city regulations and comply with all local and state laws that might apply to your project. Any and all permits are obtained by us, as well as, carrying out inspections. We’ll closely manage your home renovation so you can sit back and enjoy the process.
Step 5: The Final Product
This is one of the last steps in the series. When we get here, that means your new build or space only requires finishing touches before it’s habitable or usable for your needs.
Step 6: Punch List and Walkthrough
The last and final step is one of the most important. We want you to be satisfied with your project. The walkthrough is completed with you and your project manager and includes the punch list. This itemized list will detail anything requiring immediate attention. Here, we will discuss finalization and when you can start enjoying your new space!
