Have you been thinking about renovating your kitchen? If so, there are a few things to consider so that there are no regrets. Of course, we would love to consult with you before doing so to help you think it through.

Having no plan

Before you start ripping cabinets and walls out, make sure you have a detailed plan of what you want your new kitchen to look like. What do you not love about your current kitchen? Is it that there isn’t enough storage; maybe there isn’t enough cabinet space. Either way, make sure that you think of those details and make sure you have a detailed layout of your new remodel before you start.

Forgetting the triangle

Remember that the three busiest areas in a kitchen are the sink, stove, and refrigerator. It is important and recommended to keep these three close to each other in the kitchen.

Forgetting to create a budget

Think about what you are most excited about for your new kitchen. Which part of it matters the most to you? Having some sort of budget in mind is key when remodeling because those dollars disappear fast when you start purchasing all of the elements that go into a remodel.
