This cute cottage in Nashville’s Melrose neighborhood had already been remodeled when the homeowners bought it, but the back porch hadn’t gotten any of the renovation love. Even though the backyard was fenced in, there was no place to hang out, as there was barely room for even a single chair on that little concrete patio. That’s where Stratton Exteriors came in.

We were hired to build a patio extension, add a deck, and construct a new walkway per Davidson County codes. We upped the awesome ante on this deck by including horizontal skirting and two “floating” benches. Lastly, it got a coat of Porter Paints’ semi-transparent Wood Guardian stain.
