Each year it seems that Nashville’s stake in the home design/decor world grows larger. This is thanks to, at least in some measure, the success of some of our city’s home decor blogs. Here are five of our favorites:

The Decorologist home

The Decorologist

The Decorologist: Paint color consultant Kristie Barnett has made a name for herself in Nashville and elsewhere with not only her color consulting and home staging business, but with her beautiful and inspiring blog, which showcases before and afters of the magic she’s worked in Music City homes and some of her DIY projects, as well as insights on furniture arrangement and paint color selection. Her own home, pictured above, is inspiring in and of itself.

StyleBlueprint

StyleBlueprint

StyleBlueprint: This blog, which consistently sits at the top of The Nashville Scene‘s Best Local Blog list, doesn’t just have home and decor content but also digs into food, fashion, city highlights, and local faces.

Nestegg Rachel Halvorson

Nestegg

Nestegg: This blog, kept by Nashville interior designer Rachel Halvorson, is a wellspring of inspiration. I mean. Just check out the old doors she repurposed as a flatscreen coverup, above. The blog is home to lots of fun before and after shots. You may also want to check out the site for Rachel Halvorson Designs.

Rebekka Seale home

Rebekka Seale: This beautiful blog, written by East Nashvillian and painter Rebekka Mann Seale, isn’t strictly a decor blog, though Seale has featured much of her lovely Nashville dwelling here over the years.

Bleubird home

Bleubird

Bleubird: James Kicinski-McCoy recently moved to Nashville and brought with her a blog that is mind-boggling in its global popularity. McCoy writes not only of her own home and of those she loves but of food, family, and fashion.

I know we have to be leaving some great ones out. Do you have any favorite Nashville home blogs?
